User interface

MadNet P2P is a bittorrent client designed for the “madernet” community. It is based on.net framework. This client has been designed for use with the MadNets download sites, where a lot of high-quality torrents can be found.
P2P has been ported to the.NET framework by MadNet’s owner, so it will be running in systems with version of.NET lower than 4.0. The current version is 2.0 but there are already people working on v3, and one can find the sourcecode for v3 in the project’s site.

Seeds and peers are not required in MadNet P2P. The other great feature is that your network is disconnected if there are no seeds or peers online and can reconnect within some seconds to a new seed or peer.
MadNet P2P includes a news, search and other widgets. The last feature is very useful in my opinion but it has an external configuration.
All in all it is a very good client, although I have just recently updated it.
It is very important to have any sort of feedback system in the client. If you do not like a certain functionality and you want to take it out, you should be able to do so. I have seen some very “broken” clients because of this.
MadNet P2P is a program that will connect to madernet.com and its compatible servers. It’s like a small amount of bit torrent running in the background. You will download from its servers and upload to the “baby” servers. It’s free and easy to use. When you install it, it says it will download a file called MadNet Download Manager.

The newsgroup databases come with thousands of newsgroups and since the program saves your news server password, you won’t have to enter it every time you run MP3 Grouppie.
You can preview each article before downloading it to compare it against other postings or download it if you prefer to read it on your computer.
