filter forge 8 includes a new lens correction tool that allows you to enhance your images by adding a focal blur and other lens effects. the lens correction tool lets you adjust the radius, strength, and opacity of the lens effects. you can also use the invert colors tool to invert a color image, horizontal/vertical flares tool to apply flares to an image, blur tool to add a blur to an image, and blur and zoom tool to add a blur and zoom to an image.
radial blur – adds a blur, or’spoke’, to the edges of a lens. it will add radial blur to an image in any orientation, and will preserve all metadata such as gps, camera model, etc. the radial blur filter lets you add a blur to any area of an image by using a customizable blur radius. the radius can be set in degrees or pixels.

after trying to open filter forge, i get the message: “the control 0000000000cfee50 has no window handle. this is upsetting as i use filter forge ‘a lot’ for my art and to enhance my photos. anyone know of a solution. i have contacted filter forge, still awaiting a response. the other plug-in will not even show up on the list,, even though i’ve added them to the lists. without the plug-in, affinity is really not useful for me.”
