When Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon River, against Roman law, he was sending a signal to the Republic of Rome. “You have failed. You are weak. I can save you.” His actions began a civil war that derailed the authority of the Senate and transformed a republic into a dictatorship.
Likewise we are a republic about to die. But it is not an army we have to fear, only the moral bankruptcy of our leaders, our representatives, our Lords and Ladies. And I can sum up this entire chapter of USA history in a single statement. We have ignored and trampled our founding document.
Constitutional law means nothing if we do not adhere to it. Judges dismiss it out of hand. Academics mock it. Lawyers circumvent it. Our politicians now regularly offer ideas and policy that are in direct violation of what was once regarded as the finest political document ever written. Many who claim to understand it speak openly against it, while simultaneously insisting their idea is supported by it. Reverse logic?
Like Rome, we have become decadent and weak. So much so that we allow the loudest bullies to persuade us and ignore the soft spoken people of reason. Rather than face the bullies, we shy away. We watch our politicians concede to the mob and make lemonade from the lemons we are left with. I disapprove of lemonade.
The biggest weapon that is working against law and order is brainwashing. Call it indoctrination, call it reeducation, call it gas lighting; it matters not. We have been consistently, continuously lied to for decades. The groupspeak has become an entity unto itself, serving no master as it evolves with the daily repeats, retweets, restated lines of twisted propaganda. In our cowardice, our biggest hope is that the onslaught of cancel culture will turn on those who began it. What a pathetic battle plan!
Who started this misinformation campaign anyway? They call themselves “Progressives”. Some say they are Socialists. I call them what they are, Communists. You know the saying, “If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, well. most likely it is a duck.”
The old Democrats argued with Republicans about how to and how much. The new Democrats, most of them, are Progressives. These – call them what you will – Communists – have been promoting socialistic policies for 100 years. And here, in the year of covid and riots, they have finally amassed enough sheep to cross the Rubicon and destroy the republic. For now on they will tell us what to think and say and we will do it. We will repeat their lies and march in their lines. “You have failed. You are weak. We can save you.” Why?
Because the constitution no longer protects us from the State.
The coup against our elections began 4 years ago and the only people who have gone to prison belong to the followers of an elected president. The communists have lied to Congress, lied to the Executive, lied to judges, violated security laws, subverted the media ( a willing entity), impeached a president over a phone call, incited riots, and committed fraud on an election. Moral bankruptcy is vastly inadequate to describe the events. Yet they continue, ignoring law and constitution to reach their goal of supreme power.
Anyone who believes they will not rig the Senate races in Georgia is a fool.
Once upon a time there was a place called “Camelot”. I could draw analogies all day long. We are in the midst of a mythology so old it defies human beings NOT being able to see through it. The lie. The willingness to believe the lie. The patience to wait for the battle you know you will win. The fools who play by the rules long after their opponents have discarded the rule book. The noble judge who has been bought. Divide and conquer. Let them eat cake.
All of these principles of war are outlined in the Communist Manifesto. The theme is – overwhelm the system, destroy the institutions, divide the people, create a power vacuum, move in, take control. Once control is achieved ….. and mark my words because you will forget this letter in ten minutes …. they will create committees or commissions, it’s hard to predict the language they will use …… that will monitor and regulate industry and business, including travel. The State will acquire real estate and failing businesses. All financial paths will lead to a centralized authority — we’re pretty close already — until your dollars have no freedom and neither do you. Upward mobility will be a pipe dream. Maintaining your current style of living will become impossible. Thousands will fall into poverty, unemployed or simply unable to pay rent. There will be rich and poor, landowners and serfs, party members and enslaved citizens. How long this all takes does not matter. That we have traveled this far down the path does.
Animal Farm warned us. The last generation warned us. History warned us. The Bible warned us. Here we are, watching Caesar cross the Rubicon.
Let the revolution begin.
