Smell the Coffee

11-30-2020

Watergate began as a bungled burglary. Few took notice at first until the backgrounds of the burglars became known and links to President Nixon were established. No one believed Nixon was involved. (Richard Nixon was a Republican) Very few thought the Watergate case should even be investigated. But two stubborn journalists (a journalist is an extinct sub species of man) did some amazing due diligence, got famous, wrote books, and eventually watched the movie. Nixon resigned from office.

We always wondered, “Why did Nixon cheat when he won in a land slide?”

President Clinton denied allegations that he had had an affair with a young intern working in the White House. No one wanted to believe it. Again, there were enough stubborn attorneys to move the case forward, listen to the denials, fight the media, and eventually prove their case. There were some great one liners during this period too. Clinton was impeached but not removed, just like Trump. Now he is sought after for his wisdom.

The bottom line became, “Everyone lies about sex.”

President Trump has been accused of everything imaginable for 47 continuous months, impeached but not removed, yet found innocent of everything except having a loud mouth.

Today we are in the midst of a constitutional crisis. A country wide effort to fraud an election has been uncovered. Apparently it is working because just as before, with Nixon and Clinton, no one wants to believe it.

This is not the same, however. The President is the victim this time, not the accused. The American people are the victims too. Our system of government is at stake.

If this idea, that a concerted, well organized attack on the voting system was perpetuated by actors within and without our borders, is too much to fathom …. well, that is exactly what they intended. This is an assassination in virtual reality.

The computers did not attack us like they do in a good “B” flick. They were used like a rifle, and like a rifle, it only takes one bullet. This crime, as widespread as it appears to be, could easily be accomplished by only a small group “in the know”. Stooges are everywhere as we have witnessed all year long in riots where the wolves hide among the sheep. That is the tragedy in any coup. A small number manipulates the crowd.

The Bolsheviks were small in number and they took over Russia. A lone gunman, motivated by hatred, killed Lincoln. Who killed Kennedy remains a mystery. And I would opine that in every case things took a turn for the far worse. These are pivotal times in history that were coordinated by a very few. Show me a database of ballots and I can make it say whatever you like in minutes. Stir up some sheep to create a diversion. Feed garbage to the press. This is not brain surgery. But it is evil.
