Once you have downloaded the Adobe Photoshop CS5 software, go to the location where the file was downloaded. You will see the folder for the software. Inside that folder, you can see another folder. Extract the folder inside it using WinZip or a similar utility. This is the folder that will contain the application. The name of the extracted folder will be \”Adobe Photoshop CS5\”, and it contains all the files that were downloaded.
Note: if you are already running Photoshop, you should reinstall the program (make sure you delete the previous version before installing). In case you need help in reinstalling Photoshop, you can check this video tutorial for more information.
It’s above all a matter of taste, and if you feel it’s important for you to make the changes in the software, be sure to copy the file back and forth between Lightroom and Photoshop until you find the workflow that suits you best. Since Lightroom is primarily an image management and RAW conversion tool, it was surprising that one of my most requested features was not available in this tool. I’ve always been a user of masking tools, not to mention its Photoshop integration, and the current Lightroom version only provides limited masking. This is regrettable as, when used in conjunction with the excellent selection tools, Photoshop masking makes editing images much easier and quicker. A great example of masking – if you want to add a black frame to a picture – is possible with Photoshop. However, if you want to use the same masking in Lightroom, you have to export it as a separate layer in Photoshop and then import it back into Lightroom. This is a major inconvenience and honestly, Lightroom is meant to be a standalone tool, you should not need to modify an image created in Photoshop. I expected much better from the folks at Adobe. End result: Lightroom now has an excellent selection tool, but no masking on the go. Hopefully, they will release this feature before the full release of Lightroom 6.

Therefore, if you have a lens that doesn’t have an F-stop, you must use the appropriate tools to set it. Once again, Adobe Photoshop has its own tools in addition to the Gimp masters which can be used to edit photo editing projects (The latest version of Gimp masters adds the filter called spinner. In addition to this filter, you can also use the camera interface.)
