“One Last Day” is a sci-fi voxel survival game built around the mechanics found in the popular survival game “The Forest”. We intend to provide a survival experience with great depth and diversity to it.
The game will start you in a procedurally generated landscape with no initial resources. Your only goal will be to stay alive, find food and shelter, take care of your health and understand your surroundings. To die is to learn.
Survival games have a lot of luck. They play it straight forward, few and simple variables. When everything is over, you will get a FPS where you have to kill everything in your way. That´s not what we´re trying to do.
One Last Day will give you a chance to survive with great depth and strategy.
You will be able to choose many differents options and tactics to overcome the game.
You will have to plan ahead, and that´s why you will need to build shelters and fortifications to protect yourself.
You will need to upgrade your tools and weapons to be able to kill your enemies and the environment.
You will have to work as a unit. You are not alone, the only thing you have to worry about is how to get out alive.
You will have to fight for your life. When the game ends, there will be no second chance.

“One Last Day” is the spiritual successor of the old game “The Forest” for the Kinect. The game will be built in 2D and that´s why there will be no physics. In a “One Last Day” you are a hunter, slowly moving through a procedurally generated world, hunting to survive, playing to find food and construct tools to increase your hunting skills.

You will start from scratch. You will be alone, in an infinite map, everything you find will be your food, your shelter and your enemies. When you die, you will be carried back to the beginning of the game and the game will restart.
