In Summer Catchers you find yourself in the Summer of 1989, a time of budding romance, holidays, surprises and the first life-changing moments of adulthood. After you have finished your first year at the university, you are now free of the student dormitory and living on your own. So just like everybody else, you took a summer vacation by the sea. But things turned out differently than you expected. You saw this summer as a time of anticipation and magic, but when you got there, you find yourself in a situation where nobody wants to help you. Instead, things only get worse for you and your “summer life” begins to take a decidedly bad turn, and in the end you will have to leave everything behind and return home.

Summary:
While looking through the crates for a certain prototype rifle, Freddy
sees a grizzled cat biting a government-issued lead measuring device.
Upon inspecting this program, Freddy sees a vision of a cat trying to
play his violin. Freddy gives this an emotional boost and promises to
look into it more.
Back at Springwood, the cat is very upset, and
Freddy claims that he doesn’t want to become a steward but his cat
reminds him of his mother. He then cheerfully says that he’s going
to make it worse by saying that his mother’s the most adorable thing
in existence. In the computer room, the scene shows Mayor Goodfellas
and the President in a conversation about the incident in the
computer room.
At the Springwood Computer Lab, Freddy comes in asking for
some cardboard boxes. As he’s re-sorting the stack of boxes on the
bookshelves, he picks up a pencil and follows it onto a large
volume. As he scrolls through the pages, he sees an image of Freddy
playing the violin in a concert in front of a large audience. Freddy
visits the violinist, and discovers he’s Gary Mitchell.
The cat sends a recording of Freddy speaking with him to his
computer and says “if I were to bring you some catnip?” Freddy
delivers this to the cat. The cat goes to a cabinet, and pulls out a
cabinet containing catnip, then whispers to Freddy to come
inside. Once inside, Freddy removes his shirt. The cat purrs at Freddy
and apologizes for waiting, stating that he is “trying to be coy.”
Freddy asks about the recording, and the cat smiles and shakes his
head. Freddy asks about the animal living in the house, and the cat
replies that he wants to keep people from seeing it, and wishes Freddy
would leave. Freddy inquires about his dad, and finds out that he
was transferred to the Horseshoe Bay Juvenile Center in Reno, Nevada.
He asks about relations in the house, and the cat says he spends his
time sleeping.
In the television room, David is shooting a TV program. He
has selected a bogus show about a boy in the 1950s and places himself
as a psychiatrist. David describes the boy as “scrawny, very
