Hemlock Society Bengali Movie Free Download Torrents
I want to make it clear to the readers that I have not seen this movie. However, with my experience of watching other Bengali movies such as Ordinary People and Ponnaiyin, as well as the claims that this movie is one of the best in India, I wanted to watch it.
With some help from my friend I got a free download code from a movie available in vip section of IMDB. It was available for around 2.5 hours. People had already downloaded it and uploaded them to torrent websites. Before downloading, I consulted my friend who has watched the movie to see if I would like it or not. I was curious to know, as I read that this movie was one of the best ones. I decided to download.
I downloaded the movie, at first I was not very sure if I liked the movie. But after the end I liked it a lot and found it to be a better option to watch a Bengali movie then the ones that we get to watch in a crowded theatre where most of them are sub standard and you need to watch several of them to get something that entertains you.
I liked the story-line, the cinematography and the acting of the actors. The male lead was very well developed as someone who runs a suicide society. The female lead was played very well by Koyel Mullick. I had watched her in a Bengali film called Ponnaiyin. The male lead was played by one of my favorite actor Baba Shrikanta . I watched the film Shreyas in 2012 and found that he was quite good in the role. I was fascinated by the fact that he plays a sufferer of anorexia which was a rare role in Bollywood.
The story revolves around a young upmarket woman who tries to commit suicide because of stress. That day, she is called by a young man, Ananda Kar, who runs an institution called Hemlock Society. He reveals to her that she has a gift for her to help her in the act. The girl is amazed and he as well as she get on well with each other. He finds that she has a potential for killing herself. He convinces her to come to their society for training.
Ananda Kar then goes to the girl’s house and tells her that the doctor has said that she is a candidate for the Hemlock Society’s training. He gives her an assignment, which is to write a farewell letter to her life.
The rest of the movie deals with the agenda of the Hemlock Society. You’ll see how they decide upon the trainees. Each one of them is shown. Then comes the conspiracy part where, Ananda Kar is released and he helps the depressed girl kill herself by telling her that suicide is the best solution to her problems.
Throughout the movie, Ananda Kar tells her that she has an underlying disease, which is incurable, but it is incurable for a reason. Then, he tells her that the people who are trained in the Hemlock Society are given a good price by an insurance company, because they are the only ones who die a painless death.
The film is a private high school in Kashmir, who wants to hang himself, but he doesn’t know how to do it. Hm instead he tells the headmaster, and gets him to teach him. The headmaster or their talking about their tutoring pupils. So, the school comes under the direction of Ananda Kar, a random young man, who runs an institution called Hemlock society. It is a society which teaches how to commit suicide.
The film opens with a young terminally ill millionaire, Ananda Kar (Parambrata Chatterjee), a rich housewife who wants to commit suicide by ingesting a deadly poison, but she is saved by her nurse. At the end of the movie she falls in love with him. Her father Niharika (Roopali Ganguly), a doctor living with a second wife, tells her that he will not allow her to go through the treatment and that he will commit suicide instead. He tells her to meet a person called Ananda Kar, a random young man, who runs an institution called Hemlock society. She goes to meet him and after that she tells him that she does not want to go on live and asks for his help.
