Rails’ Rails.application.routes.resources is a collection of all routes under your controller’s namespace. This collection is also known as the route stack. You can control these routes with a few keywords which can be defined within the routes file.

To make things simple, let’s consider the example to make a resource on your application/project, this is what you need to do:

action: the action you want to route to
defaults: optional parameters. The (empty) set {} is a default parameter which means that the request will not pass any parameters. Here if you want to pass some parameters for the action then this would be used as in:
defaults: {:param => :value}, so {:param => “value”} is a default value which is passed on request.
requirements: here you can define a filter for the action, the filter can be an array of conditions, for example: params[:something].
options: If the action has a param attribute, then this is the key-value map which corresponds to it.
params: here you can define params as an hash.
param: if your route has a param attribute, then this will be equal to its value.

How To Install:

Tiny Media manager is an application to manage your digital media and The Movie Database (TMDB) in one place.
Aside from organizing your files by genre, the tool also gives your movie some other tidbits of information to improve your movie experience. Such as movie trailers and movie covers (via the TheMovieDB).
