Passing a paramater to a method that is defined on a different object

I have a method on another object that needs to be called from a web service. The webservice takes in a string paramater, but the object in question doesn’t have that parameter in the signature for that method. Is there a way to get the service to accept a parameter from my calling method?
Example:
public void MyWebMethod(string param)

public void MyObject(string param)

This would throw an error of course since MyObject doesn’t have a param parameter. I’m assuming that there has to be a way of doing something like this? I also have the parameter available from a webservice.
The above example is simple, but this is where I am. The webservice paramater is received from my calling webmethod and is not always available (no data from table, only has a value in a form).

It is kind of a weird thing, but you can pass params from the calling method to the called one, but you have to follow the pattern like
