Flowchart logic in QBasic
This is a game program I created in QBasic. The object of this game is to move an enemy ship through a process of elimination. This game will be a good learning tool to show that logic is the basis of all mathematical concepts. By that I mean, you can create logic by adding, subtracting, adding, multiplying, dividing, and comparing numbers. There are five text lines in

How X-MathCast and Mathcasting Work
The Mathcasting works as follows:
You have a document in XHTML+MathML format.
You open a MathCast session
You import the equations from the document in XHTML+MathML format into the session
The equations are now stored in the session. You may now edit them, and keep them in the session.
You export the equations in the MathML format.

X-MathCast comes with the equation editor, and if you are a math-major, you may realize immediately that in a world of web applications, equation editors are getting pretty scarce.
At least, there are very few of those capable of rendering equations in a consistent and logical way, without ruining your layout.
There’s a reason.
Math is an extension of natural language, and it’s not meant to be inputted on a computer. Unfortunately, most “native” equation editors on the market assume otherwise.
This is a prime example of what happens when developers don’t take math into consideration. Today, we’re going to be reviewing X-MathCast, a web-app which is fully optimized for math support.
I know what you’re thinking:
Does X-MathCast support Equations?
Are you looking for a simple equation editor? Something which doesn’t assume much about what you intend to do with the equation?
Good, this article is for you, then.
X-MathCast is exactly what you need if math is all you want to do and very little else. It’s a simple equation editor with no frills, you don’t need to fill out a questionnaire, nor does it need any complicated explanations.
X-MathCast is an HTML5 application developed with JavaScript and it’s HTML-based. Which is perfect for accessibility, as it can be viewed on any operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux, and so on), and in any web browser (Ch

Is it possible to use native Android IPC with custom user space code?
I would like to use native android IPC with my custom user space code.
My user space application needs to communicate with another application using IPC. I am able to do this using the service exposed by the services.adb shell command. But I would prefer to use native IPC with services running inside the kernel. Is it possible to do that?
A:
IPC is done by messaging between devices using shared memory (memory with a file descriptor) or by passing messages through a dedicated communication port (analogous to UART on the x86 platform). In both cases, the standard Android IPC mechanism is used: the Java object model that most of the Android API classes are implemented on top of allows writing shared memory or passing messages.
Since we cannot communicate through a dedicated port or pass messages directly through the operating system, we have to pass messages through the Java object model, which means that we have to marshal data between Java and native codes. This is where Dalvik comes into play: Dalvik is an interpreter in the middle that sees what Java code is doing and translates it into the instructions and data that we can expect to see in the Android device.
