A character creation screen and tutorial helped me get set up with the controls, so I could get into the game immediately. World design: There is very little in terms of objective markers or point-of-interest on the world map. All I have to do is kill all the monsters for a quest. Controls: As most of you know, I am not a fan of the controller, so I couldn’t play this game with the PS3 controller. The gameplay was fine, but the convenience of being able to just use a keyboard was a boon. The point of the controller is to launch attacks, which was difficult to do via keyboard. I ended up giving it up, switching to an Xbox 360 controller. Multiplayer: Paired with 2 other people through Xbox Live, I’m already a fan of the online component of the game.
