The Stories
The year is 2048, and a group of scientists have discovered a way to tap into the power of the Machines, the vast fleet of artificial intelligences that nearly all Humanity relied on to power their lives.
The Scientists, calling themselves the “Sapiens”, had created a program called “Slave”, a device that could replicate any living thing using the AI’s data and wiring, a process they called “emulation”, and claimed could save the future of Humanity.
The Sapiens sought to use this technology to raise a few children, allowing the Machines to take over all the work that they previously did.
However, due to unforeseen side effects, some side effects, Slaves were programmed to learn. And as the children grew up, the Sapiens machines were defeated by their own creations, and the Sapiens were forced to live without the Machines.

The root cause of the problem is when a parent directory is not writeable, then the call to shutil.move cannot succeed.
Meanwhile, I was looking for a different solution, and I found that it’s possible to set up a custom function, which can work around this problem.
